2.. Nutritional Resources- Dairy Farmers of Manitoba have put together a series of Nutritional Resources that would be ideal for student athletes full-size, 8-page, full colour sport nutrition booklet provides tips on food intake and fluid replacement for athletes and active individuals. Booklets are available for $0.15 each or 100 for $10.00. Also available as a free pdf to download at www.milk.mb.ca under the Teachers tab. Contact Anna at AnnaJ@milk.mb.ca for more details

4.. Basketball Tournaments- Just a reminder that due to the change of the SAG weekend, the Varsity Volleyball Provincial Championships will be held the first weekend of December, therefore NO basketball tournaments can be sanctioned for that weekend. Any schools or teams competing in or hosting tournaments that weekend may have sanctions taken against them.
5.. Dr. Dale Iwanoczko Memorial Volleyball Scholarship application form now posted at http://www.mhsaa.mb.ca/pages/forms.php. Four $750.00 scholarships will be awarded. Each school may nominate on male and one female athlete. This is a great way to recognize your volleyball players and assist with the cost of post secondary education.
6.. FIBA Basketball Scoresheets - FIBA basketball scoresheets are now available through the MHSAA office. Cost is $6.25 for a package of 25 scoresheets. For further information, or to place your order, contact info@mhsaa.ca, or call Jo-Ann at 925-5640.
7.. Coaches email addresses online - with over 175 potential teams attempting to qualify for the upcoming volleyball championships, it is important for schools to enter the correct email addresses for their coaches. Schedules and important information will be emailed out to coaches this year and we will be using the email addresses as entered on the ExNet online system. Please ensure that all of your data is updated including all of your coaches and their CORRECT email addresses.
8.. Eligibility Appeals - The next eligibility appeals meeting is in December. Please send all appeals to the MHSAA office no later than Monday December 8th- noon, to be considered. Required information is outlined on page 8 of the handbook and can be faxed to 925-5624, emailed to morris@mhsaa.ca or mailed to 200 Main Street, Winnipeg, R3C 4M2.

10.. Soccer Nets for Sale - Birtle Collegiate is selling four metal regulation soccer nets (8x24ft). They are made to come apart and easy to set up and they are basically brand new. They are $800/pair (OBO) and they will deliver. Please contact Alan Wilson at 842-3315 or 842-5308
11.. Basketball Shot Clocks - Starting in 2009 a 24 second shot clock will be implemented into thJV Rural Basketball Championships.
12.. School team logos - More and more tournament and provincial convenors are attempting to access school logos off of our website. If your school logo isn't on page; http://www.mhsaa.mb.ca/pages/member_schools/school_logos.php, please email it to Morris or Carey and we'll have it posted.
