1. Todd Davison Never Alone Scholarship -The Never Alone Foundation would like
  to award the Todd Davidson Memorial Scholarship ($1,000.00) to a High School
  athlete who(this award is open to athletes participating in all MHSAA
  sanctioned sports):
  - Has risen above personal challenges in their life
  - Shows a hard working, diligent approach to the game
  - Displayed strong leadership and team play
  - Is respected by teammates and coaches
  - Is proceeding to a post secondary education on a full or part time basis.

  2.. Reminder for potential recipients that the application deadline for Manitoba Foundation for Sports Scholarships including the recently created Milt Stegall Scholarships is rapidly approaching - applications are due March 28th. Applications are available at  http://www.sportmanitoba.ca/scholarships.php
 

  3.. 2008 Annual General Meeting - The MHSAA Annual meeting will take place June 15 - 17 at the Canad Inn Portage La Prairie.  Plan now to attend.  The registration form has been posted on the website, http://www.mhsaa.mb.ca/pages/forms.php
 

  4.. MHSAA Board of Directors - Want to be more involved in high school sports? Consider running for a position on the MHSAA Board of Directors.  Positions up for election in June are: Urban Rep, Urban Admin Rep, Female Phys. Ed Rep, and two Rural Representatives.  For further information, contact Morris at 925-5641 or morris@mhsaa.ca.
 

  5.. Volunteer Recognition - The MHSAA is accepting nominations for the Jostens Zone Volunteer of the Award and MHSAA Certificates of Recognition.    These awards are presented annually in June.  if you know of someone deserving, contact Morris at morris@mhsaa.ca
 

  6.. Remember to take advantage of Sport Manitoba Travel Assistance if you have traveled to a MHSAA Provincial Championship. Check out http://www.sportmanitoba.ca/downloads/Athlete_Travel.pdf for more information.
 

  7.. Coaches Clinic - Athletics Manitoba is hosting at track and field Coaches clinic on April 18 at the Max Bell centre.  For agenda and registration information, please go to the track and field section of our website or directly to:  http://www.mhsaa.mb.ca/pages/sports/track.php
 

  8.. Track & Field - River East Collegiate is hosting Mini Meet on Tuesday, April 29th All events except hurdles from  9am-3pm. Note: Throwing events are done on grass.  For further information, contact Danielle Fontaine at dfontaine2@retsd.mb.ca.
 

  9.. Legion Athletic Camps - Registrations are now being accepted for the 47th Legion Athletic Camp. Students should register early to ensure that you are not disappointed.   10.. Sport Manitoba's Community Sport Development Grants Manual has now been posted on our website, check out http://www.mhsaa.mb.ca/pages/forms.php.

11.    Watch the replay of the Milk "AAAA" High School Basketball Championships tonight (Wednesday) on Shaw Cable 9 beginning with the girls game at 7:00 p.m. and boys game at 9:00 p.m.
