1.. Manitoba Moose playoff ticket discount.  Order your tickets online at www.ticketmaster.ca and use the password: "ASSIST", and you will get the MHSAA discount of $5.00 off each ticket.

2.. Kildonan East Collegiate has a Universal Gym set in good condition for sale for $750.  Interested schools can contact Art Koop at 667 - 2960.ext. 2243 or akoop@retsd.mb.ca                          
3.. Track and Field Clinic - Athletics Manitoba will be hosting a FREE clinic at the University of Manitoba for Coaches and Athletes alike:
Wednesday, May 14 for Javelin and Long Jump (4:30-5:30 pm)
Friday, May 23 for Hurdles and High Jump (4:30 - 5:30 pm)

4.. Team Canada Volleyball - Come out and cheer on your Winnipeg based Canadian Men's National Volleyball Team at the 2008 Pan American Men's Volleyball Cup taking place from June 2-7! 5.. The MHSAA is now accepting applications for the Easton "Unsung Hero" Award - The Easton "Unsung Hero" Award is to be given to a hockey player who has been judged by his teammates and coaches as the "unsung hero" of the team.  This person may not have the highest stats, but is a leader and contributor to the success of the team.  The winner will receive a pair of skates from Easton.  The nominations can be by letter from the coach outlining that persons leadership skills and why they are the 'unsung hero' of that school team.  Deadline is Friday April 25, 2008
 
6.. Spring Track & Field Meets - If you would like to give your athletes more opportunities to compete in sanctioned meets prior to your zone meets, please visit http://www.mhsaa.mb.ca/pages/tournaments/tournament_list.php for a listing of upcoming meets.
 
7.. Coaching Manitoba is offering four bursaries of $500 each to a male and female student from the Winnipeg region and rural Manitoba. This is to encourage students to continue coaching in Manitoba while attending a post-secondary institution. Students who are, or will be, enrolled in the upcoming school term in a post-secondary institution and are currently coaching for a school, club or community center are invited to submit an application. 8.. Volleyball on the Road  - The Manitoba Volleyball Association is pleased to announce that they are once again presenting the Volleyball on the Road programme for rural schools and recreation districts during the summer.  This will bring volleyball camps for students from Gr. 5 and up and can run from 1 day to 5 days, with qualified instructors to your school or community.  For more information, please contact Daryl Ford at (204) 827-2229 or email daryl@mts.net.
