Volleyball
Captains Bar in the volleyball rule book,
on page 22-rule 4 .3 .4 . it states:
The team captain must have on his/her jersey a stripe
of 8 x 2 centimeters underlining the number on the chest.
The MVOA has requested for all JV and varsity teams
to have this identifying bar sewn on to your captains
uniform as a badge of honour, as a touch of class, as
a way of removing loose pieces of tape on the playing
surfaces, and to allow proper discussion between the
team and the referees during a match

High school student leaders that attend the workshop
go on to act as mentors in grade 5 classrooms, speaking
on the same issues and helping the younger students
to develop their skills. For further information or
