3. Killa Crossover basketball Tour - Wednesday at MTS Center when you go to ticketmaster.ca , look for killa crossover tour, when purchasing a ticket it will have a box beside that says password and you would type in "school" for the reduced rate. The same goes for when you call 780-3333 or any ticketmaster outlet. The tickets would normally be $20 down to $15 plus applicable taxes.

4. The MHSAA is currently looking at creating a new awareness or branding for high school sport. One possible suggestion may be the use of the terminology "SchoolSport Manitoba" as a way to identify high school sport.

We are hoping that school graphic arts and communication departments, may consider assisting in the development of this campaign by having students submit possible logos or other ideas in which to promote school sport.

The MHSAA will be awarding prizes for submissions. Can you please pass on this information to the relevant teachers in your school and ask them to contact Morris (morris@mhsaa.ca, or 925-5641) for more information.

5. Sport Manitoba Travel Assistance – A reminder to all schools, that will participate in Volleyball Provincials, and those that will be participating in upcoming provincials, to apply for travel assistance from Sport Manitoba, through your regional manager. The link to the application form is http://www.sportmanitoba.ca/downloads/Athlete_Travel.pdf

6. Floorball Clinic. There will be a Floorball clinic on Sunday December 10 (9:00 a.m. – 4:00 pm.) at Sturgeon Creek school featuring some National team members and coaches. Cost is $20.00 for registration. This is open to athletes and teacher/coaches. Contact Boyd Van Aggellan at 770-2326 or bvanagge@shaw.ca for further info.

7. School Leadership programs – Sport Manitoba is looking at developing a student program that may be eligible of grade 11 and 12 credits or may a valuable resource tool. If you currently offer a student leadership program (or thinking of implementing one), would you please take this very short survey to assist in determining the components that are needed.
