Coaching Association of Canadas Geoff Gowan
Award was created in 1996 to honour former Coaching
Association of Canada (CAC) President Geoffrey Gowan,
CM, PhD. The award recognizes lifetime contribution
to coaching development and is awarded to a coach who
has presented a positive public image of coaching and
enhanced the role of the coach with the Canadian public.

recommendations from the sport community until August
1, 2007.

Badminton racquets - Any teachers needing badminton
racquets restrung? Mike Krykewich at Sanford Collegiate
strings racquets as a hobby. Charge for each racquet
will be $15.00. He will only accept racquets that have
a value of over $15.00 and they must not be bent or
cracked. A good quality string is used, BG 65 by yonex.

He will pick them up at AGM and have them done for badminton
season.

MHSAA Handbook As the year-end is fast
approaching, please take a moment to review your schools
information in the directory section of the MHSAA Provincial
Handbook (the yellow pages at the back) and email any
changes to christine@mhsaa.ca.

Staff Changes if there are any staff or administrative
changes in your school starting in the 2007-2008 season,
please email this information to morris@mhsaa.ca,
so that it can be included in the September edition
of the PACER.

Team Canada Men's Volleyball will be hosting
Korea on June 29 and 30 at the MTS Center. For more

Legion Athletic Camps - Registrations are now
being accepted for the 46th Legion Athletic Camp. Students
should register early to ensure that you are not disappointed.
