  1. Membership Survey – the MHSAA would like your input in several areas. This survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Please click here to have your say on the future direction of the MHSAA.

  2. Manitoba High School Dragon Boat Challenge - Register your school today. May 26, 2007. Join over 30 schools who compete for bragging rights and the coveted Manitoba High School Dragon Boat Championship. Each team receives 3 hours of practice time, and a minimum of 3 races on race day. Activities and entertainment on race day. Event is in support of KidSport Manitoba. Contact the Manitoba Paddling Association at

  3. Winnipeg Free Press Student News website - The Winnipeg Free Press is putting together an online student site and looking at a high school sports section. They are looking for students that are interested in writing articles that cover tournaments, etc. as well as submitting pictures. Interested individuals should contact Lindsey Wiebe at the Winnipeg Free Press, lindsey.wiebe@freepress.mb.ca.

  4. Coaching Manitoba Appreciation Night – will be held at University of Winnipeg on February 2 basketball games. Groups passes for both games are free for all coaches families and teams. For tickets contact Sandy Janzen at 925-5692 or email her at coaching@sport.mb.ca

  5. Red Dear College Women’s Basketball Identification Camp – Red Deer College will be hosting an ID Camp on March 30-31st, 2007. For more information or to register, contact Ali Wilson at (403)343-4024 or ali.wilson@rdc.ab.ca.

  6. The University of Manitoba Bison Volleyball teams are hosting Thompson Rivers this weekend in exciting Canada West volleyball action. On Saturday, January 27 there will be a special Boston Pizza appreciation night. As part of the night’s festivities we are giving away a team party for 15 people at the Boston Pizza on Pembina Highway. Game times are 6:00pm for women and 8:00pm for men.   7. Make Ethical Decisions – Coaching Manitoba is offering “Make Ethical Decisions” as a stand alone module on February 21st, 2007. For more information, or to register, contact Lee Wedlake at 925-5913 or leewedlake@sport.mb.ca.
