1. AGM Notices of Motion – The Deadline date for Zones to submit Notices of Motion to the MHSAA, is Friday, April 20th, 2007.

2. Badminton Point-a-Rally – Just a friendly reminder that we will be using the Badminton Point-a-Rally scoring system at this upcoming Provincial High School Badminton Championships in Gimli on May 4 & 5. For more information, please visit our website and follow the link under Current Items.

3. 2007 Cross Country Running Championships – We are currently looking for a host for the 2007 Cross Country Running Championships on October 11. If you are interested in hosting this one day event, please contact Carey at 925-5642 or email: carey@mhsaa.ca

4. 2008 Provincial High School Fastpitch Championships - We are currently looking for a host for the 2008 GIRLS Fastpitch Championships on June 6 & 7. If you are interested in hosting, please contact Carey at 925-5642 or email: carey@mhsaa.ca

5. Badminton Eligibility Registration – is due TODAY. Please ensure that your badminton online eligibility is completed today.

6. The University of Manitoba "Bisons" Women's Soccer Team will be hosting their annual Player Identification Camp on the weekend of May 4 (7- 9 p.m. ), 5 (9 - noon), & 6 (2 - 5 p.m.).The Identification Camp is open to current university players, graduating high school players and grade 11 high school players. The ID Camp will be held at the University of Manitoba. Scholarship and Athlete Awards – The Credit Unions Scholar Athlete Award, Josten’s Athlete of the year, and "Super 8 – Super 8 Athlete of the Year" applications are now posted on the website, http://www.mhsaa.mb.ca/pages/forms.php. Don’t miss the opportunity to nominate your athletes for these awards. Deadline for receipt of applications is Friday, May 25th, 2007.

8. Grey Cup Legacy Coach of the Year Nomination forms are now on the website. Check out http://www.mhsaa.mb.ca/pdfs/Grey_Cup_Legacy_application.pdf for more details or to nominate a coach.

9. Student Manager Award – We are now accepting nominations for the 2007 Student Manager Award. This is a $500.00 scholarship. To nominate a deserving student, simply fax a letter (925-5624)or email morris@mhsaa.ca, outlining the details of the contribution that your student manager has made to your team, school, and athletic program over the year(s).
