5. Hockey Scholarships - The MHSAA is pleased to announce that we have two new hockey scholarships.

The Manitoba Moose will be sponsoring two $1,000.00 scholarships for outstanding sportsmanship.

A Memorial Scholarship has been established in the name of former St. John's Ravenscourt player, Alex Josephson. Alex was a member of the 2002 Provincial Champions, St. John's Ravenscourt Eagles, and tragically passed away in a car accident late this summer.

6. Provincial Volleyball Championships - Sport Manitoba offers travel assistance high schools that travel over 600 kilometers. Your regional Sport Manitoba consultant has the information, or check out the information package that was given to schools at the beginning of the year. You can also go to the Sport Manitoba website, www.sportmanitoba.mb.ca for information and application forms. Make sure to take advantage of this travel support opportunity.
