Foundation for Sport scholarships
- The Manitoba Foundation for Sport offers $500.00 scholarships
to graduating students that are attending post secondary
education full time for the 2006-2007 school year. The
deadline for applications for these scholarships is
Saturday, March 25th, 2006. For further information,

Golf Championships – The MHSAA is looking for
a host for the 2006 Golf Championships, on September 22,
2006. Interested schools should contact Carey Lasuik at

MTS
cell phone challenge
- MTS invites all Winnipeg high schools to participate
in cell phone recycling! Collect old cell phones, cell
phone accessories and pagers and MTS will donate $3-$15
per item to the construction of the Michael Komenda Memorial
Skateboard Park in Charleswood. The school that collects
the most cell phones will receive a prize. There are also
early bird incentives available. For further information,

participating in Provincial MHSAA Championships may be
eligible for travel assistance through Sport Manitoba.

General Meeting – The Annual General Meeting will
take place June 18th, 19th, and 20th in Portage La Prairie.
