3. The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) is now accepting applications for the 2006 Carol Anne Letheren Leadership and Sport Scholarship. The scholarship is a national, three-year, $1,500 per year, university scholarship awarded to one outstanding female high school graduate. The award is named in honour of the late Carol Anne Letheren (1942-2001), former Chief Executive Officer of the COC. To learn more on how to apply please visit http://www.olympic.ca/EN/funding/letheren_award.shtml. Applications must be received at the COC Toronto office by mail by 5:00 p.m. EST, March 31, 2006.

4. The MHSAA recently acquired 4 club seats (each night) for the Moose games against Omaha this Friday and Saturday, Feb. 10th and 11th.. and are having a charity auction for these two sets of club seats. Tickets would be $5.00 each and proceeds would go to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, the official charity of MHSAA . These tickets would normally sell for $37.00 each and you can win 4 of them by buying a $5.00 draw ticket and support Crohn's at the same time.

As time is short and we just got these donated, if you are interested, e-mail me at morris@mhsaa.ca and let me know that you would like to purchase one or two or 3 tickets for the draw. We will make the draw on Thursday morning. Cheques should be made payable to Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada or CCFC and should be mailed to MHSAA, 200 Main ST, Winnipeg R3C 4M2.

If you have any questions, please call me at 925-5641 or e-mail morris@mhsaa.ca
