Lord
Selkirk high school Curling Bonspiel
– Lord Selkirk will be hosting a bonspiel, on February
18 & 19, just prior to the provincials. They are
looking for 24 girls and boys rinks and the entry fee
is $100.00 per team. If you are interested contact,

Dr.
Dale Iwanoczko Volleyball Scholarships – Just
a reminder that the deadline to apply for the Dr. Dale
Iwanoczko Volleyball Scholarships is Wednesday, December
14th. Application forms are on the MHSAA website
under forms, http://www.mhsaa.mb.ca/pages/forms.php.
Four students, two rural and two urban will be awarded
a $500.00 scholarship. Please get these in immediately.

Change
in Volleyball Championship dates
– With the SAG Conference being moved to the last
week of November beginning next year, the championship
dates will change. The Provincial Volleyball dates will
move to the first week of December.

Schools
hosting tournaments should be reminded that invitational
tournaments cannot be held on the same weekend as any
championship so hockey and basketball tournaments that
have traditionally been held during the first couple
of weeks of December may have to be moved.
We hope that this advance notice will give you plenty
of time to make these arrangements.
SAG is scheduled on Friday, November 24th next year
and the Provincial Volleyball Championships will be
held November 30th, December 1st and 2nd. The Junior
Varsity Provincials will be held on November 17th and
18th.

Scoresheets and rulebooks – Just a reminder
that basketball scoresheets and rulebooks are available
at the MHSAA office. Rulebooks cost $14.25, and scoresheets
are $6.25 for a set of 25. To order some for your upcoming
