2006/2007 Tournaments - You can now register
your tournaments for next year on the MHSAA website
now.

2006 High School Golf Championships HOST - the
MHSAA is still looking for a host for the 2006 Golf
Championships, which are scheduled on Friday, September
22. We are looking for a 10:00 am shotgun start for
approximately 30 foursomes. For more information, contact

SAG Conference - Remember that SAG will be held
in November now, so that 3rd weekend in October is now
open to host tournaments.

MTS golf Classic will once again be looking for
volunteers this year. The Classic will be held again
at Pine Ridge from July 13-16. More info will be forthcoming.

Baseball/Fastball facemasks - For the sport of
fastball, runners and batters require facemasks on their
helmets. Baseball does NOT require the facemask on their
helmet.
6.
Track and Field implements - please note that
the following are the implement weights that are in
affect starting this season:
Shot
put - JV girls, JV boys and SR girls - 4kg SR boys
- 5 kg
Discus - Girls - 1 kg Boys - 1.5 kg
Javelin - Girls 600 grams Boys - 700 grams
This
equipment is available through Home Run Sports (255-7687)
or through Diana at Athletics Manitoba (925-5744)

Tennis Manitoba is hosting a High School Tennis
Tournament at Winnipeg Lawn Tennis Club on Saturday,
June 3rd and Sunday, June 4th. The tournament is open
to all students in grades 10-12 as per MHSAA eligibility
guidelines, excluding players on Tennis Manitoba's Provincial
Team. The tournament will include both a girls and boys
division. Detailed information is available at www.tennismanitoba.com.

Legion Athletic Camps - the 45th Legion Athletic
Camp will occur from July 16 - August 26, 2006. Registrations
are now being accepted. Students should register early
to ensure that you are not disappointed. This camp is
hosted at the International Peace Garden and boasts
12 sports to choose from for 2006! For Further information,

Rural Track - The Rural Track & Field Championships
will be held in Selkirk on June 2 & 3, 2006.

The University of Manitoba "Bisons" Women's
Soccer Team will be hosting their annual Identification
Camp on the weekend of May 5 (7-9 p.m. ), 6 (9- noon),
& 7 (2-5 p.m.).The Identification Camp is open to
current university players, graduating high school players
and S3 high school players. The ID Camp will be held
at the University of Manitoba. Interested players should
contact Head Coach Mr. Walt McKee at walt_mckee@umanitoba.ca

summit held this Friday, April 21st, 2006. Registration

Annual General Meeting - Registration forms are
now available online, http://www.mhsaa.mb.ca/pdfs/2006_agm_reg_form.pdf.

Notices of Motions - Just a reminder to fax or
email your zone Notices of Motion for the Annual General
Meeting. The President's Meeting will take place on
April 26th and all motions must be submitted to the
MHSAA office by Friday, April 21st.

is looking for a trampoline. If you are interested in
